We spent months trying to convince strangers to take photos of their days; one finally relented. John is an East London crane driver who was working on Old Street last summer. He spent a day recording how he fills his days, and then handed over the undeveloped camera to us. We now own his day - and we're sharing it with you. And if the pictures aren't enough then there are some words downstairs. Enjoy.
And if you do, then coming up soon are London's notorious Sinner/Winner street preacher and some performers from Buenos Aires. Thanks for taking the time to check us out..

Finally! Well done for getting there, guys. And a really good start. Can't wait to see where you take it.
By the way, the Staufenbergers have moved. Pop in next time you're in/near Smithfield/Barbican.

Thanks alot guys. Your right Patrick it has taken a while but better late than never. Theres some more great people to post so please do come back.
This is really interesting, nice one. Looking forward to seeing more people.
Wow - what a brilliant idea. It's very cool to see how completely random people spend their day. Can't wait to see who is next.
Thank you Courtney comments like that make it all worth while.
If you every see anyone and think " What the hell are they doing/going" then do let us know.
Do you have a blog/website?
ollie
That's great.
Looking forward to seeing more. I don't know what I like best -- the nosy aspect of it, or the idea of giving people cameras and telling them to get on with it.
Cheers clare - I think it was probably born out of nosiness. But there's something quite nice about being able to hold a disposable camera and know that someone's day is inside.
But it's mainly nosiness.
